Press the [DOWNLOAD MAC APP] button above to download the SafeCall-PGP.dmg
file on to your Mac.
Then double click the file named SafeCall-PGP.dmg and the disk image will mount.
Then double click the newly mounted disk that will appear on the desktop.
A window will open like in the picture below with the SafeCall Icon
on the left and the Applications Folder on the right.
Drag the SafeCall Icon and drop it on the Application Folder.
Start the Safecall App by double clicking the SafeCall PGP App Icons in the
Applications folder on your Mac in Finder or go to the Applications Icon on
the Menu Bar and select SafecallPGP.App
An error message will appear when you first start Safecall PGP and
will tell you that your system security settings do
not allow you to run apps installed outside of the Apple Store.
You must then go to your OSX System Preferences
and select the Security and Privacy settings.
See the picture below and a button will appear that you must
press to allow Safecall PGP to run on your Mac.
Then run Safecall PGP again and a window will appear asking your
permission to run Safecall PGP the first time only.
Safecall PGP will then run normally after this first approval request,
without giving any more warnings.
This SafeCall Mac App features the Oracle™ Java Runtime Engine (J.R.E.).
This SafeCall Software includes its own self-contained Java J.R.E. which means
that you do not need Java installed on your computer to run this application.
So this Mac App is the best of both worlds: The latest Java J.R.E. to run your
SafeCall Mac App, and no Java J.R.E. needs to be installed on your computer to run it!
